About Author :
Malkit Singh is HOD and founder member of the Postgraduate Department of Human Rights in D.A.V. College for Girls, Yamuna Nagar. He is the person who designed the syllabus of Post Graduation in Human Rights of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra as his college was the first college to introduce Human Rights at the Post Graduate level under the Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. He is a prolific writer and researcher. He wrote 2 books on the position of human rights in Punjab during the Militancy and also contributed many articles on human rights and women rights in the reputed national and international research journals. He has keen interest in Indian Philosophy and he is also founder member of Gandhian Studies and Nehru Studies Centres of the College, established under the (Epoch Making Social Thinkers of India) by UGC, New Delhi. This book is outcome of his years of hard work with his Post Graduate Students. As well as the three years of Major Research Project sanctioned by UGC.
