About the Book :

Lack of systematic documentation on research in the field of Marketing Geography in India is too well known to emphasize. Researchers have to waste their valuable time and energy in tracing out relevant literature from a variety of scattered resources. The present work endeavours primarily to fill this gap, at least partially. It is perhaps the first attempt of its kind in the field of Marketing Geography in India.


About Author :

R.S. Dixit (b. 1941) is currently Head, Department of Geography, Isabella Thoburn College Lucknow. He did Sahitya Ratna (Geography) M.A. (Geography) and D.Phil. (Geography) and has been taking keen interest in research in the area of Geography of Marketing and Commercial Activities. He has authored a number of books, reports and research papers. He has participated in a number of national and international conferences and is member of a number of academic bodies.
