About the Book :

The principal emphasis of the articles in the first part of the volumes Models in Urban Geography is on the tracing of the development of the models in urban geography and on evolving the models in urban geography and on evolving the spatial organization of the contemporary cities. Most of the authors have investigated how men interaction gives rise to urban spatial structures. Most of the articles emphasize the preoccupation of the urban geographers with decision making and problem solving. The purpose of the second part of the volume is to show how the principles of scientific methods are applied to the field of urban geography by examining in a comprehensive way the use of mathematical mode in a simplified, symbolic, rational and logical representation of some natural artificial phenomena which inform the urban researchers and planners about the urban locational problems and the solutions.
