About Author :

Shanbhulal Doshi (b. 1928; Ph.D; University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, 1962) is Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Udaipur, Udaipur. His research interests include Social anthropology, stratification and social change, and study of India village Communities. He is credited to have carried out intensive field work in the tribals of Rajasthan. He has published many papers in professional journals in India and abroad. He has edited, along with other, Gandhi & Social Order and Youth University and Community. He is the author of : The Bhils : Between Societal Self awareness and Cultural Synthesis. He has translated Lashe Psychology of Industrial Relations and has written four books in Hindi on the themes of General Sociology and Social Anthropology.
