About Author :

Aradhana Shukla is Prof. and former Head Department of Psychology, Kumaun University Campus, Almora Uttarakhand. Currently she is Campus Dean (Arts) at Kumaun University Campus, Almora. She has served in Department of Pediatrics of Banaras Hindu University, Post Doctoral fellow (U.G.C.) at University of Gorakhpur and has been serving here for last 27 years. She has published 100 research papers of national and international repute, ten books in which nine are published by national agencies and one from Germany (LAP). She has carried out 4 major projects from ICSSR and UGC and coworked in UNICEF and GFATMround 7 projects. She has guides 45 Ph.D. students and prepared 26 psychological tests. Her major thrust areas are: developmental psychology, personality psychology, cultural psychology, environmental psychology and mental health care system.
