About Author :

Sucheta Singh is Subject Matter Specialist/Assistant Professor (Home Science), Directorate of Extension Education, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttaranchal. Since seven years, she is involved in dissemination of frontier technologies and development of models for upliftment of rural women. She has many awards and honours and about 50 publications to her credit.

Veena Gandotra is formerly the Head and Dean, Department of Home Management, Faculty of Community Sciences and Family Studies, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. She has carried out many research projects in the areas of management, environment, housing and interiors. She has eleven books and several articles to her credit.

Promila Sharma is Head, Department of Family Resource Management, College of Home Science, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttaranchal. She has been involved in research since 1983 and disseminated several technologies techniques through extension and research work.
