About Author :

K. Stevenson is an Associate Professor and former Head, Department of Communication & Journalism and Chairman, Board of Studies at Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. He was In charge Director, Educational Multi Media Research Centre, OU. He has nearly two decades of experience in teaching Communication and allied subjects including Print journalism, Advertising, Corporate Communication and Communication Research at the Department of Communication and Journalism. A recognised research supervisor, he has guided M.Phil students and Ph.D. scholars. Dr. K.Stevenson, an active researcher, worked on a few Andhra Pradesh Government funded projects He is the recipient of the Best Teacher Award in Public Relations. Dr. Stevenson has authored lessons on Public Relations, Editing and Media Research for the distance education programmes of leading Universities ín India. He has published several articles in mass media journals and newspapers. He has presented papers at several national and international seminars/conferences on a wide range of media issues. He also served the Department of Communication, College of Applied Sciences, Nizwa, under the Ministry of Higher Education, Sultanate of Oman.His areas of interest include Conflicts, Violence, Media Relations and Advertising.
