About Author :
Debotosh Sinha (b. 1962) did his Masters degree in Social Work specialising in Family and Child Welfare from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai followed by M.Phil and Ph.D. degrees from Delhi School of Social Work, University of Delhi and Visva-Bharati University respectively. He also completed PGD in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Bharatia Vidya Bhawan, Delhi. Currently, he is serving as Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan. He has authored two books titled Aspects of Industry and Occupational Social Work and Problems and Prospects of Child Rights and Welfare in Our Society. He has presented papers in a number of national and international seminars besides the publication of same in journals of repute with contribution of conducting several sponsored research projects. He visited a number of countries (London, Italy, Finland, Sweden, Norway, South Africa, Scotland, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, Manchester, South Korea, etc.) on several occasions for various academic programmes.
