He also explored his academic career as an Associate Editor in The Academy, a monthly newsletter published by Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie. He has interest in Rural Development, Microfinance & Microenterprise Generation in Development Intervention, Human Resource & Institutional Development - focused on study of depressed land Caste in India, National Land Record Management programmes, Action Research and Documentation, etc. He has also worked as a Consultant Faculty in National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NIMSME), Yousufguda, Hyderabad, Government of India. Dr. M. Kennedy Singh had done M.A., M. Phil, and Ph. D. from University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad. He was qualified for UGC - NET.
