About the Book :

This book is a collection of ten papers presented in the National Workshop on Knowledge Management in Rural Development Spectrum at National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD). The contributions cover the basic principle of managing knowledge, i.e., sharing. Right from basic issues of knowledge management to issues, methods, strategies, factors involved in creation of knowledge sources and transformation of tacit into explicit knowledge, the role of ICT in the process to hasten the dissemination of required information in rural areas are widely covered. The best practices of ICT-based knowledge management in Agriculture bridge the gap between the technology and village environment.
