About Author :

Manis Kumar Raha, an eminent Anthropologist, retired as Joint Director, Anthropological Survey of India. Now, serving as expert in different projects and also attached to different Universities and research Institutions. He has published a large number of books, articles and book review and has a dept contribution to the tribal society of India and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. He was examiners of Ph.D. thesis of different universities and was President, Anthropological & Archaeology section, Indian Science Congress, 1996.
