About Author :
G. Vasant Kumar is a faculty member and Project Coordinator of RCUESOU, Hyderabad. He did his Ph.D. with distinction from Osmania University in Management. He is a Graduate in Law, Post Graduate in Public Administration, and specialized in leadership and team building from the Brier Crest University, Canada. He is a sociologist working on women and children issues, protection of rights and good governance.
He is a civilian police officer of Andhra Pradesh State Police Service of 36 years experience of working in different assignments. He is winner of Gold Medal in the All Indian Police Duty Meet on Scientific Aids to Investigation (1986) and recipient of UN Peacekeeping Medal during his deputation to United Nation Mission in Bosnia, Herzegovina (19992000) where he authored five segments of Police Manual for Bosnian Federal Police and introduced different projects for prevention and rehabilitation of children conflict with society and protection of rights of persons of under priviledged communities.
He is a visiting faculty to many national and international institutions dealing with strategy and change management, leadership, team building, urban issues, urban services, protection of rights of women and children, corporate responsibility, institutional building, empowerment of urban poor, road traffic and transport facilities, legal rights of migrants and displaced personalities, rightful services to the urban poor and secured living.
