Anup Kumar Dey did his post graduation in English and M. Phil. from Assam University, Silchar. He has also done his Ph.D. on the plays of Arthur Miller in the same university. He taught English Literature in two Government Degree Colleges in Tripura for more than 7 years and is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Assam University, Diphu Campus for more than 5 years. His research papers are published in many well reputed international journals. He has completed one Minor Research Project under UGC on the poetry of Margaret Atwood. Currently he is engaged with a National Security Council sponsored research project on the Zeme Naga tribe. His areas of interest include Drama Studies, Postcolonial Literature and Indian English Writings.
