Indu Karki is currently working as scientist at Central Institute of Post Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana, one of the institutes of Indian Council of Agriculture Research, Ministry of Agriculture. She has work experience in consumer science and behaviour, ergonomics. She has guided 7 M.Sc. and B.Tech students. She has authored 7 research papers, 8 popular articles, 2 book chapters and I technical bulletin. She has also participated in 5 National and International Conferences and has life membership of 2 national scientific/professional societies. She got Reliance award in 2010 for best scientific paper presentation during national conference of Indian Association of Occupational Health, Mumbai.
